Going dotty?

Simple time saving tip for those with template rage:

Re-save your CAP02LITE on your desktop (or chosen template) with the file ending .dot rather than .doc (or .dotx / .docx for newfangled files) and hey presto every time you double click to open it, a new blank template will open called document 1, and you won’t accidentally save over your original template. When you have finished it you can save it with the appropriate file name.

To re-save your template in this way save a copy on your desktop first and then right click or highlight the filename to edit it. .dot means word template. Alternatively you can just do this to the original wherever you have it stored and then create a desktop shortcut.
