This week has been a bit busy.
We’ve launched The Transparency Project’s Family Court Reporting Watch, which you can read about here. And under the auspices of that project we’ve done a corrective piece in response to a piece in The Mirror and The Times which misunderstood the significance of a judgment released on BAILII and thereby reported the outcome as the opposite of what it really was.
I participated in a really interesting discussion about lessons we might learn from the Ellie Butler case, the notes of which are here.
And we heard back from IPSO about our complaint regarding The Daily Mail, leading me to ponder “What exactly IS the POINT of IPSO?”.
All of which possibly contributed to me conking out at 8pm last night for one of my mega-12 hour sleepathons. Party on dudes!
